Beautiful views of the bay and great location near attractions. Staff was friendly and responsive. The shuttle service was convenient, but the cleanliness in the bathroom needs attention. Saw live music in the lobby which was a nice touch.

The views from my room were stunning, and the live music in the lobby added to the fun atmosphere. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired, with some areas showing signs of wear. Great location by the water but the noise from the club pool was bothersome. I appreciated the bike rental option for exploring the area.

The hotel had an elegant facade and was easy to access. Staff were genuinely friendly, especially the front desk agent and shuttle driver. our first room was less than clean. The tub was stained, and the sink had issues. While the waterfront view was stunning, the grounds felt neglected — a once beautiful gazebo now an eyesore. The atmosphere lacked the warmth we remembered. The Bistro was a bright spot, thanks to a cheerful employee. Despite the charm, we’ll likely look for a place that better meets our expectations on our next getaway.

Plus, my bathroom flooded overnight, and after they “fixed” it, the toilet still wouldn’t flush. Such a nightmare! I'd never go back.

I felt like a chic island princess in this palm tree paradise, enjoying the live music nights as if I were in a VIP party. The beach shuttle saved my royal feet from walking.
I guess moldy halls and hoodie-wearing surprise guests add some excitement to a stay.

The pool area is excellent and offers a fun atmosphere. The staff is super helpful, checking us in early and accommodating our last-minute requests.
Some rooms need better maintenance, like a broken AC and no hairdryer.

I absolutely loved my time enjoying the breathtaking views overlooking the bay while sitting on the balcony, and with live music just across the water, the atmosphere was energizing and fun; plus, the comfortable bed and friendly staff made my stay even better, although I did notice that the hotel could use some maintenance improvements.

Nice views of the bay and a prime location near beaches and restaurants. The staff was polite and helpful—a definite plus. The room boasted a comfortable bed and charming decor. the experience fell short. Maintenance issues were prevalent: slow flushing toilets, lingering smells, and cleanliness left much to be desired. The hot hallways were unbearable. We encountered a roach, which understandably overshadowed our stay. Misleading room descriptions and lack of proper amenities were frustrating. While the location had potential, the overall upkeep didn’t match the price. It’s clear this property needs significant improvements to warrant a return stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the resort, especially enjoying the lively beach bar with fantastic live music nights and DJ sets. The location, just 20 minutes away from major attractions like Busch Gardens and the Florida Aquarium, made it so convenient for our family. The Florida Aquarium was a definite highlight, offering fun and engaging exhibits for everyone to enjoy!
My wife says that having more kid-friendly activities on-site would be great.

We even caught a crazy live DJ set that had us vibing all night. And being just 20 minutes away from all the hype attractions like Busch Gardens and stadiums made the turn-up so convenient!
Yo, we just wish there was a sick rooftop party scene at the hotel to keep the young crowd pumped up all night long! .

beautiful view of the bay. room had been updated and was nice. property and pool were great as was the view and bed. room has no seating besides the desk chair but we were not there to hang out inside so all good. restaurant and bar were nice. we really enjoyed everything except the room. the location near to the airport was the main factor for us.

The staff at check-in were very friendly, and the name of the hotel, Godfrey, was a fun coincidence for us. The view from the hotel was truly amazing, and we were looking forward to a great experience celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. there were definitely some areas that need improvement. The bathroom was a bit outdated, and the toilet seat was extremely low, making it challenging to use comfortably. The cleanliness of the room was also a concern, as we found the tub needed to be cleaned and the floors in the hallway required vacuuming. One major issue we encountered was the lack of security in our room. The door didn't lock properly all night, and it was unsettling to realize anyone could potentially enter our room without difficulty. This made us feel quite vulnerable and compromised our sense of safety during our stay. the level of noise at the hotel was disappointing. There were disturbances both inside the hotel and from the adjacent music venue that disrupted our peace and quiet. It was unsettling to hear people making noise late at night in the hallways and experiencing loud music from the lounge and surrounding area. In terms of service, the staff could be more attentive and responsive. We had difficulty getting through on the phone and had to walk to the front desk for assistance multiple times. The night staff at the restaurant were not very friendly, and despite noting our anniversary on the reservation, there was no special recognition or gesture made. while The Godfrey had its highlights, such as the location and views, the issues with security, cleanliness, noise levels, and service detracted from our overall enjoyment of our stay. These are areas that could be addressed at the hotel.

Our stay at the hotel was mostly enjoyable. The room offered a refreshing sea breeze and a beautiful view of the bay. The check-in staff were courteous and efficient. The food from room service was fresh and flavorful. I appreciated the modern wave-card access that worked flawlessly. We hardly heard any noise from our neighbors thanks to the thick walls and heavy doors. The coffee pods provided were of good quality.

Chose hotel for location. Great waterfront restaurant with fresh seafood. Hi-speed WiFi access was a surprise.

Our stay at a hotel at Tampa was absolutely fantastic. We were blown away by the spacious room, complete with a large bathroom and two TVs. The highlight was definitely the huge balcony with its two patio sets, allowing us to enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean. The hotel's location on the ocean-side was perfect, and we loved sipping wine while taking in the scenery from our room or from the swimming pool and cabanas. The on-site restaurant was also top-notch, and we enjoyed dining there. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near other great restaurants and has easy access to the beach. The trails near the hotel were a lovely bonus, providing an enjoyable walk along the ocean.
The terrible beds in our room. The mattresses were broken down and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
